Sometimes I let people down, Sometimes I let myself down
Not complaining, just saying, I didn’t know there was an option
Everybody needs to take a few steps back, though I know they won’t
Too many people look for the easy way to the top
Top of what?
It’s like cheating, If you have to do it
is the prize enough?
As I grew older, life went by in big chunks, 10 years, five years
to turn back the hands of time
that one time I would really like to see,
how that would come out differently.
