I like to look at and read about the people that show up on the find friends page on facebook. If I find someone, even if I don’t know them, that I think is interesting and doesn’t have five thousand friends already, I will request they join my little group of disparate comrades.
I have noticed a lot of people list conservative and christian as their two main points of info. I don’t remember seeing anyone list democrat and christian or democrat and jewish as their main points of info.
They are not necessarily evangelicals, but they like identifying with the core philosophies of the group. Our society is becoming increasingly polarized by this non secular influence. Demagogues thrive in this type of environment. Robert J. Bender
