Merrill Lynch downgraded General Electric this morning. Within five minutes CNBC had an analyst on who recommended G.E.'S stock. General Electric owns CNBC. It's nice to be king.
Last night Sixty Minutes aired a show detailing the Duke rape case complete with witness interviews, forensic evidence and just enough mention of racial epithet guaranteed to raise the blood pressure of many viewers. Remember when cases had to go to trial before this kind of show would air.
