If you were to look up the word irrepressible in the dictionary you couldn't find a better definition than Mickey Rooney. Talented, (larger than life) I last saw him perform in 1981. Mickey had just turned 60 and was starring on Broadway in his blockbuster show " Sugar Babies". Mickey was great and the show was a huge success.
The Baby Boomer generation grew up watching Mickey as a child actor, teen actor, adult and later senior citizen. No one had a longer and more varied career.
You have a place in our hearts. So long Mick.
