The Obama Administration couldn't be investigating torture abuses to pressure certain groups to support the Healthcare Reform Bill and to take pressure off his healthcare initiative.
If that's the case, then the Obama team is due a hats off for trying to bring to light those who committed serious crimes in the Bush administration and employing savvy political strategy at the same time.
